On Kastelli's new Website, Customers Design and Buy their new House Online

With the new website Bonsky created for Kastelli, consumers can customize and purchase Kastelli houses online. Kastelli’s customers find buying a house online is easier, faster and cheaper than through the traditional purchasing process. The website motivates customers to make a purchase decision by simplifying and streamlining the house construction project.

 

Collaboration between Bonsky and Kastelli began in Spring 2016 and continues as a successful continuous development. In their latest joint project, they implemented a website enabling consumers to buy new houses online.

“Online sales are on the rise. Kastelli wanted to offer an online option for people buying a house. In the first stage, customers can choose between two new house models and customize the floorplan, interior decoration and equipment,” says Bonsky’s Janne Pirkola.

The Website Makes Buying Easier and Takes the Burden off Buyers

Consumers often see buying and building a new home as an arduous and time-consuming process. Starting with the design phase, there are thousands of possible options and seemingly infinite decisions to be made. Many home buyers are happy to focus on the big picture instead of dealing with every small detail. On the website, buyers select their favorites from a limited number of standard options. Anyone can design a new home in 15 minutes.

“The website is all about people wanting to get a rough idea of how their new home might look. It’s easy to start planning when you don’t have to start from scratch. Customers can choose the options they want and get a custom home.”

Lower Costs to Customers

Standard options save money for Kastelli and home buyers alike. A new house designed online costs at least 10 % less than a same-size Kastelli home designed and purchased through the traditional buying process.

“Selling houses with standard options is profitable to Kastelli. Using tried and tested standard solutions lowers the selling price. On the website, customers can also see how different choices affect the price. In future, we might add other Kastelli models to the online selection.”
