Digital service platform developed by Bonsky is an important part of iLOQ’s retailer experience

iLOQ Oy is specialized in developing digital locking solutions and they have grown rapidly in Europe during the recent years. They aim to continue their strong growth in the international markets. It is crucial for iLOQ to take good care of their distributors and they are now able to do that with the platform, iLOQ Access, which Bonsky has developed for them.

– The first version of our new tool kit offered to our distributors has now been launched. We are already very happy with the results of this first phase, says Jukka Penttinen. He is the Digital Transformation Manager at iLOQ. It is his responsibility to develop the digital services offered both to the distributors as well as to the end customers.

– Our main goal is to make the distributor experience as good as possible. iLOQ’s role is to produce the technology, with which our distributors create the final added value to the end customers, he summarizes.

Continuous development work ensures the high-quality user experience

The cooperation with Bonsky has gone smoothly, and the service platform is constantly being developed to meet the users’ current needs. iLOQ chose the Agile-development for the realization of this project, because it enables a highly adaptable and scalable execution.

– We have been able to start working on new features very quickly and to also launch them as we have got to know our end users and their way of doing business better, Penttinen states.

Even though the results so far have been promising, iLOQ is aware that the journey is at its first stages.

– We do not see the architecture of this digital business as ever being completely ready. To us, it is something that is constantly changing and developing. I think this way of working is the only option to do this sort of developmental work, Penttinen concludes.
